Tests for Eye Vision
As the causes of eye vision problems are numerous, there are various types of tests performed von the patients to identify them. Diabetic retinopathy can be identified with a preliminary test by the ophthalmologists. A regular exam to test the presence of Myopia needs around 60 minutes. In order to test color blindness the doctors measure the patient’s ability to recognize different colors. The tests for Amblyopia are performed when the doctors are sure that the other causes of poor eye vision are absent in the particular patient. Perimetry and Slit tests are also performed if required.
